Asset Creation - Western Pacific 713 Locomotive

This asset was fully textured in Substance Painter with a focus on a realistic, weathered industrial look. Custom material layers were created to represent aged metal, chipped paint, rust, and grime, reflecting the locomotive’s operational history.

Edge wear, mechanical detail, and surface variation were refined to enhance realism while keeping the asset optimized for close-up and real-time use. The final look was tested in neutral lighting using custom shader balls to ensure consistency across environments.
